how graded comics are valued
With a slab, grade is settled — so value comes down to recent sales of that issue at that exact grade. Half a grade point can make a big difference on a key. Page quality (white pages vs. off-white) and label type matter too.
- Universal (blue) labels — standard grades
- Signature Series (yellow) — signed under the grader's witness
- Restored (purple) and Qualified (green) labels — valued differently, and we buy those too
